Scheduled Day-Time Tutoring

Students who are enrolled in MATH 10031 through MATH 12003, MATH 14001, or MATH 14002, may apply for a math tutor beginning the first week of each semester. Since scheduled day-time math tutoring is funded by a federal TRIO grant, students who are first-generation college students, come from low-income backgrounds, or are disabled will be assigned services. All other students will be referred to drop-in tutoring sites.

Students who wish to apply for scheduled twice-a-week tutoring are encouraged to stop by our office between 9:00am and 4:00pm beginning the first week of the semester to pick up a registration form. Students can also obtain our application online. However, they are required to bring their completed form, in person, to 207 MSC to complete the registration process.

Drop-In Tutoring

The Math Assistance Program also provides drop-in tutoring services from Wednesday to Friday during the first two weeks of the semester. These services are provided in the Math Lab in 203 Michael Schwartz Center. Drop-in tutoring is open to all students enrolled in the courses specified.

Additionally, drop-in math tutoring is held in the Residence Halls (Twin Towers, Prentice Hall, Stopher Hall, and Tri-Towers) and on the first floor on the Main Library. Click this link to find a detailed schedule of our drop-in times and locations.

Moreover, we offer Final Exam Review Sessions for students enrolled in MATH 11010.
