Scheduled Daytime Tutoring

The Study Group Program is designed to provide students with academic support in LER coursework. Certified peer tutors assist students in clarifying and reinforcing concepts taught in class. Students will learn and strengthen active reading, learning, and study strategies as they relate to specific course material. The goal of the program is to facilitate student success in LER courses, build content knowledge, and refine academic skills. Times for these groups vary according to semester. Weekly individual or small group sessions are scheduled according to student and tutor schedules. Services are free for all registered undergraduate students. Academic Success Center programs are principally funded by a federal TRIO grant. Students who are first-generation college students, come from low-income backgrounds, or are disabled will be assigned services prior to students who do not meet grant eligibility criteria. Select a course below to find details about the Study Group Leader and meeting times.
