The Academic Success Center provides opportunities for students to receive academic support with their classes. Services provided include: University Tutoring Services, Mathematics Tutoring in Residence Halls, Peer Counseling Services, Supplemental Instruction (SI) for LER courses, Study Groups for LER courses, Writing Tutoring Services, Academic Support Courses.

addressing concerns, such as adjustment to college, relationships, self-esteem,
family issues, roommate issues, career counseling, and study skills.

Multicultural Center serves as an advocate in assuring the successful enrollment,
retention and graduation of under-represented undergraduate students. The programs
the center offers include Kupita/Transiciones, STARS, Mentoring Program, and
Karamu Ya Wahitimu.

First Year Colloquium
First Year Colloquium course assists undergraduate students with their transition to the University. The course serves an essential role in advising students concerning course selection and focusing on academic, personal and social issues relevant to college life.
